Grazing Wanted

Mainland Grazing wants your farm! If you are an experienced grazier, we offer:

• Regular progress payments designed to reward growers and provide ongoing cash flow
• No capital requirement to secure stock

Dairy Replacement Grazing

The dairy industry has advanced considerably over the past 20 years, with a greater focus on animal and pasture performance through better monitoring. An area that still needs work is the rearing and growing of replacement heifers. Recent research by LIC and Dairy NZ suggest that as many as 70% of heifers are under target weights at mating.

There is also a strong correlation between weight at time of first calving and subsequent production for the life of that animal.
